COVID Parents Agreement

Introduction

This is an agreement between parents and carers and Maidstone United Raiders during the COVID-19 pandemic.

This must be signed by parents and carers before your child can attend a Raiders training session. No child will be allowed to attend training unless this form is signed.

General prinicples

By signing this agreement, you confirm that:

you will follow the Government’s social distancing and hygiene guidelines
you will follow the Government’s guidelines for youth football training
you will follow the Football Association guidelines for youth football training

These have been summarised in the Raiders COVID-19 Parent Guide.

All training sessions will take place outside, with groups of up to 30 people including coaches and players, and there will be a safety briefing at the start of each session.

Each player can be accompanied by one (1) spectator (unless there is a confirmed safeguarding arrangement for more adults to be present).

The Raiders management will ensure that all coaches:

do not have any symptoms of COVID-19
have not been in contact with anyone who shown COVID-19 symptoms
will use hand sanitiser before, after and as often as is necessary during each training session

You and your child are attending training sessions voluntarily and understand that all coaches will follow all guidelines but cannot provide any guarantee with regards to you or your child contracting COVID-19. *

You and your child will only attend training sessions when you feel well and, by attending the training session, you are confirming that you do not have COVID-19 symptoms. *

You and your child will not attend training sessions for 14 days if you have been in contact with someone who have COVID-19. *

You understand that only one parent or guardian can bring their child to training sessions and they must stay in sight of their child for the full duration of the training session from designated waiting area (unless there is a confirmed safeguarding arrangement for more adults to be present). *

You and your child must always remain 2 metres apart from all other parents and guardians in attendance, and other children when not participating in a coach-led training session. *

For every training session, you will provide your child with their own water bottle and hand sanitiser. *

You and your child will maintain the 2m social distancing when arriving and departing the venue, and will congregate thereafter. *
